Spirits with Altitude

We are gettin’ this trip started right — with a tour, tasting and bottling party at Breckenridge Distillery in Colorado. At 9,600 feet, the distillery might be the highest in the world, but can you blame the hangover on the altitude? Maybe.

  1. i think the unofficial motto for the Breckenridge Distillery should read as follows: “I ain’t got a drinkin’ problem…’cept when i can’t get a drink.”

    monica-
thanks for having me along to walk rivers with you yesterday. i really enjoying reliving my days in the high sierra while watching you fish. Cindi loves your card and your wonderful dog. what was her name again?
and a double thanks for indulging me that little visit up to the Alma cemetery. saw someone in town today who was actually there with us the day we put Willie to rest. (“Long may your run/long may you run/Although these changes have come…”). safe travels. matt

ps: Neil Young was on Letterman last night. great interview-he didn’t play, but Jimmy Fallon was on just before and did a great Neil impression w/guitar and harmonica. Crazy Horse is rockin’ Central Park on Saturday, a benefit for the World Food Bank.
