“Before I visited Breckenridge in late September, it was one of those ski towns I’d heard of but didn’t think I needed to check out. I live in my own mountain town in California, and most of my travel time is spent at the beach.”
In four days in Breckenridge, I went on a summer sled dog ride, rode numerous mountian bike trails, lost the bigest brown trout I have ever hooked on a fly rod, tasted locally made bourbon, whiskey, vodka, and beer, and ate fantastic meals at numerou local restaurants.
There was sunshine and snow, rain and wind, and a whole lotta fun. Read more about about my experiences in Breckenridge with trip planning advice, a mountain biking guide and an Instagram photo essay published on the Matador Network.
